3D CADD (Computer Aided Drafting and Design) is a computer program that allows the user to create just about anything three dimensionally; users can design anything from auto parts to entire buildings. This is a great tool for the manufacturing industry, engineering industry, and any company or individual that would like to create their own products.
I started a few years ago using a program called SolidWorks for the company that I work for; it has been the best part of my job and has inspired me to pursue a degree in manufacturing engineering technology. My purpose for this site is to express the interest that I have gained over the past few years for three dimensional drafting. I also would like to show some of its uses, capabilities, and cost savings for those interested in using CAD products.
